The successful implementation of specific project phases requires the timely preparation of environmental documentation and/or the acquisition of relevant regulatory permits in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks. These may include licenses, approvals, permits, authorizations, conclusions, and other formal decisions (hereinafter referred to as “Permits”).

The development of environmental documentation and the receipt of Permits are critical to meeting key project milestones and ensuring timely progress through all implementation stages – from the design and permitting phase to commissioning and operation of the project facilities.

Our company provides comprehensive support for the preparation of key environmental documentation required to obtain environmental Permits, including but not limited to:

  • Emission Source Inventory Report (identifying sources of air pollutants);
  • Maximum Permissible Emissions (MPE) Project, which forms the basis for further permitting (e.g., sanitary-epidemiological conclusion, State Environmental Review (SER), air emission permit for stationary sources), or the development of a declaration for environmental impact;
  • Application package for obtaining a Permit for the use of water bodies, including for the discharge of wastewater or drainage;
  • Maximum Permissible Discharges (MPD) Project, which after approval is either affirmed by the competent authority or integrated into an environmental impact declaration, depending on the hazard class of substances and the category of the environmentally hazardous activity;
  • Waste Generation and Disposal Limits (WPDL) Project or justification of waste generation norms and disposal limits, which, depending on the project’s classification, are included in the environmental impact declaration or the State Environmental Review;
  • Sanitary Protection Zone (SPZ) Design;
  • Land Reclamation and Rehabilitation Plan for disturbed or contaminated land plots;
  • Environmental Monitoring Programs covering various project phases;
  • Industrial Environmental Control (IEC) Program and accompanying compliance reporting.

Preliminary estimates of maximum permissible emissions and discharges, waste generation justifications, and proposed IEC measures are typically integrated into the project design documentation as part of the “Environmental Protection Measures” section (linked with the section on Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and Management Planning).

When required, our company also provides regulatory support services, guiding the documentation through all necessary approval processes and expert reviews.
