In cooperation with RINA, specialists from our company carried out regular monitoring of the construction and subsequent operation of the urea production unit at Togliatti Azot JSC.

Our company acted as a subcontractor to the Lenders’ Independent Environmental and Social Consultant. Within the framework of the monitoring, issues of environmental protection, occupational health and safety, process safety, and social aspects were reviewed, including stakeholder engagement and labor relations. The permitting status of the project at each specific stage was assessed, the environmental and social management system was analyzed, and recommendations for its improvement were provided.

Monitoring was conducted twice a year including site visits. Based on the monitoring results, the action plan for achieving compliance with Russian regulatory requirements and international standards was updated.
