Branan Environment consultants worked on updating the environmental program of MMC Metalloinvest, which is focused on the sustainable development of the company and its individual enterprises.

A comparative analysis of the environmental programs of 9 Russian and 12 foreign companies of a similar profile was carried out, as well as benchmarking of the indicators of Metalloinvest enterprises with those of other companies.

Within the framework of this project, the risk assessment methodology and risk management guidelines were adjusted.

Based on the results of audits of the company’s enterprises, the goals and objectives of the environmental program were adjusted, the structure of the register of events was changed and supplemented, and the program indicators пwere verified and compared with the actual situation.

As a result, the environmental program of MMC Metalloinvest was updated and significantly improved. The register of events was supplemented with new events in coordination with the representatives of the company. Areas of the environmental management system with optimization potential were also identified and appropriate measures for improving business processes were proposed.
