ESG Services and Sustainable Development Advisory

Our company offers a wide range of ESG-related services, including: development of ESG policies, strategies, and action plans; greenhouse gas (GHG) emission calculations; climate risk assessments; product carbon footprint evaluations; preparation of sustainability reports; support for green bond issuance; and assessment of sustainable water use and other ESG-related topics.

Development of Corporate ESG Strategies

We provide advisory services for developing corporate ESG strategies – structured action plans that align with a company’s environmental, social, and governance goals, and reflect its vision, values, and growth objectives. These strategies define ESG priorities, targets, and implementation mechanisms, and are designed to be fully integrated with the company’s overall business strategy.

We apply a practical, implementation-focused approach. The process typically begins with site visits or, for larger corporations, with assessments of representative operations.

Following the initial assessment, we identify priority areas, develop an action plan, and determine the necessary resources. This process may include comparative benchmarking with peer companies and analysis of strategic indicators. A tailored ESG roadmap is prepared to ensure that the company fulfils its commitments, seizes opportunities, mitigates risks, and meets regulatory and stakeholder expectations.

We can develop multiple strategic scenarios, both conservative and progressive, and establish monitoring and control mechanisms to ensure that the strategy is effectively implemented. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are defined, and an employee and a stakeholder engagement framework are established. Executive training plays a crucial role in ensuring the long-term viability of the ESG strategy.

Climate Risk Assessment

We help our clients enhance business resilience to climate risks and support their leadership in transitioning to a more sustainable economy.

Scenario-based climate analysis enables organizations to evaluate how various climate pathways could impact their operations and financial performance. Our company uses advanced modelling tools to simulate and analyse potential consequences for business operations.

Comprehensive Climate Change Risk Assessments (CCRA) include both physical and transitional risks, along with an evaluation of the organization’s overall climate resilience.

Carbon Footprint Analysis

A company’s carbon footprint represents the volume of GHG emissions (expressed in CO₂-equivalent) generated by its operations.

Our specialists conduct detailed carbon footprint analyses to quantify emissions and identify opportunities for reductions. The assessment includes defining system boundaries, inventorying emission sources, and analysing energy use, transportation, waste management, and other emission-generating activities.

Calculations are performed in accordance with national standards as well as internationally recognized methodologies such as the GHG Protocol.

The results help identify high-emission areas of the business, outline mitigation opportunities, and allow for full offsetting through investments in carbon sequestration. Carbon footprint results are typically disclosed in public reports and used in national and international sustainability ratings, helping companies reduce costs and enhance competitiveness.

Supply Chain Sustainability Assessment

We assist clients in evaluating and strengthening the sustainability of their supply chains. This includes developing supplier policies and standards, conducting ESG audits, and identifying opportunities to reduce emissions and improve environmental performance across the entire value chain.

Sustainability Reporting

We support the preparation and disclosure of sustainability performance information to stakeholders. This may involve drafting sustainability reports in accordance with recognized reporting frameworks and ratings, and advising on transparency improvements and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Sustainable Water Use Assessment

Our company offers services for evaluating sustainable water use within development projects. In line with international standards such as the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS), assessments cover the following areas:

  • Watershed-based water resource management;
  • Water balance analysis accounting for climate change, regional factors, and water consumption;
  • Reliability and quality of water sources (pollution prevention and source protection);
  • Consideration of other water users’ interests, including ecological, social, cultural, and economic dimensions.

Integrated water use assessments can be combined with internal water audit procedures commonly implemented by large corporations.

Green Bond Readiness and Environmental Certification

We prepare environmental justifications and documentation packages for companies planning to enter the green bond market.

These justifications are prepared in accordance with green building standards, the Green Bond Principles, the Russian Government’s Green Taxonomy (Decree No. 1587 of 21 September 2021), and VEB.RF’s Methodological Guidelines on Green Finance.

The assessment includes qualitative and quantitative analysis of environmental benefits associated with proposed measures. The resulting documentation forms a key part of the company’s green bond issuance package.

ESG and Sustainability Training

We design and deliver training programs on sustainable development topics, ranging from introductory sessions to thematic workshops. These are designed to build ESG awareness across the organization, support effective ESG implementation, and help assess both operational and reputational risks.

Training modules may include:

  • ESG fundamentals and sustainability principles;
  • Strategy development and implementation;
  • ESG-business integration;

Topic-specific modules, such as climate risk assessment or sectoral ESG trends.
